Margaret Barbach is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a post-graduate fellow at the Adelphi Psychological Clinic. Margaret strives to create a comfortable and understanding atmosphere that allows her clients to safely explore feelings and experience positive outcomes.
Margaret specializes in working with elementary-aged children and adolescents using attachment-based, psychodynamic techniques. This approach allows her to understand her clients beyond their presenting difficulties and address the roots of troubling behavior. She helps her clients develop self-awareness and coping strategies to manage difficult feelings such as depression and anxiety. Margaret also works closely with parents and families to improve communication and foster deeper, more meaningful connections between family members.
